Gerrit Rieveld Academie Diploma Amsterdam 2015
In collaboration with Luca Carboni I designed the Diplomas for all recipients of a Bachelors Degree at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2015. Thinking of graduating from artschool as a moment for self-reflection and contemplation of one’s position within the (art-)world, but also the rite of passage towards something sparkingly new, we worked with the idea and imagery
of the mirror.
A stylized symbol was foilprinted on the cover of the poster-cum-sleeve. Employing a color-coding system,
we assigned each different specialization a color.
The diploma certificate could be slid into the sleeve/folded poster, the inside of which featured all information on the Dutch education system.
